Studio Policies

Enrolling in the Salem Suzuki Violin Studio starts with a 20-minute phone conversation between Ms. Mayers and the parent/guardian of the prospective student. During that conversation, we will talk through my expectations for students and parents, as well as what you can expect from me. Parents of beginning students may be asked to rent their own violin for a short time and complete 3-4 lessons prior to their child starting lessons. This ensures that parents are fully prepared for their responsibilities as home teachers. The documents below outline my general studio policies as well as more specific expectations for home practicing.
